Andrea is a results-oriented executive leader who effectively uses tactical decision making and forward-thinking approaches to optimize organizational change and deliver meaningful outcomes for stakeholders. She has extensive experience in educational leadership, executive coaching, board governance, strategic planning, and change management. Andrea has worked in various leadership positions in the PK-12 industry, including as regional general manager with Pearson North America and EdisonLearning, president of an educational management organization, and chief executive officer of a New Orleans based charter management organization.
Andrea earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Louisiana State University, an MBA from Loyola University of New Orleans, a master’s in community economic development from Southern New Hampshire University, and a doctorate in educational leadership and organizational management from the University of Pennsylvania.
At K12 Coalition, Andrea serves as Managing Director of Insight Education Group. She provides strategic direction to achieve organizational goals and manages the business development and grant operations team, including the implementation of two federal grant awards with the Teacher School Leader Grant.
Outside of work, Andrea is an active resident of the New Orleans community. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., The Links, Incorporated, and serves on The Reinvestment Fund Community Advisory Board. She is married and has two adult children.
