As the Managing Director of Passage Preparation, Nathan oversees the management and operations of the business unit responsible for developing and delivering high quality resources and courses to support individuals who aspire to become professionally licensed educators.
Nathan has over 20 years in the educator preparation and certification space. He has been a middle school science teacher, has worked in a state education agency where he led the efforts to recruit, prepare, license, and retain professional and support staff and—on the national level—he has worked for large companies that provide assessment solutions for the education field.
Nathan believes the public deserves well-qualified, diverse and professionally licensed individuals to staff America’s schools and also believes that anyone who has the knowledge and passion to teach should be supported in their journey to the classroom. It is those beliefs that lead him to Passage Preparation
Nathan currently resides in Seattle, WA, and enjoys exploring new places and getting to know interesting people with diverse backgrounds.
