Lavinia Instructional Coaching

When Teachers Grow, Students Do Too

We work shoulder-to-shoulder with educators to strengthen instructional practice, build capacity, and drive student learning, turning everyday moments into lasting professional growth.

The single most important in-school factor influencing student achievement is the effectiveness of the classroom teacher.

We know high-quality teaching not only boosts academic performance but also shapes student engagement, motivation, and long-term educational outcomes. However, despite this well-documented impact, many teachers do not have the sustained, job-embedded support they need to continuously refine their practice.

When you invest in teacher development that is expertly delivered, practical, and personalized, students succeed.

Side-by-Side
Support for Educators

Lavinia Instructional Coaching provides the support educators value. It offers comprehensive, job-embedded professional development designed to enhance the instructional practices of teachers and school leaders. This offering combines hands-on support with evidence-based methodologies to drive measurable improvements in teaching and learning.

Exceptional Student Outcomes

We know that the heart of student achievement is strong, sustained professional development and ongoing development should be connected to real classroom needs. That means training grounded in student data, tailored to content areas, and reinforced over time not just one-off sessions. When teachers can apply what they learn right away and see results, their confidence and skills grow.

Lavinia Instructional Coaching leverages the Rapid Improvement Cycle, a structured framework that includes:

1.Intellectual Preparation

Collaborative planning sessions where educators deepen their content knowledge and anticipate student misconceptions.

2.Modeling and Co-Teaching

Instructional coaches demonstrate effective teaching strategies and co-teach lessons to provide real-time exemplars.

3.Real-Time Coaching

Immediate, in-class feedback is provided to teachers, allowing for swift adjustments and refinements to instructional practices.

4.Data and Student Work Analysis

Regular examination of student performance data and work samples to inform instructional decisions and identify areas for growth.

This cycle delivers professional development that is continuous, context-specific, and directly aligned with the unique needs of each educator and their students. With Lavinia Instructional Coaching, professional development isn’t theoretical. It’s immersed in the day-to-day work of teaching and leading, ensuring meaningful, lasting change.
