Beth serves as Co-President of Lavinia Group, leading a diverse team of over 50 instructional consultants dedicated to delivering world-class professional development and instructional coaching to district and school leaders nationwide.

Throughout her career, Beth has demonstrated a consistent ability to guide teams toward ambitious goals. As the Chief Schools Officer at Lavinia Group, she played a pivotal role in driving exponential growth, expanding the consulting team by an impressive 300% and broadening Lavinia Group’s reach from 10 states to 30. Her collaborative efforts with executive, district, and school leaders have yielded remarkable improvements in literacy and mathematics performance across 100+ schools. Notably, her consulting efforts were instrumental in elevating academic performance in mathematics at South Bronx Classical, Icahn Charter Schools, and Harlem Village Academies in NYC.

As a result, these networks ranked among the top five charter networks in New York State in 2023. Before joining Lavinia Group, Beth held the roles of Director of Math and School Manager, overseeing mathematics in a network of 40-plus high-performing charter schools. Here, she led the development of rigorous mathematics curriculum materials and assessments, orchestrated comprehensive teacher and leader training, and provided direct school support to leaders while managing a network-wide shift to a progressive approach to mathematics. Under her leadership, the network consistently performed within the top 1% in New York state for mathematics performance.

She simultaneously managed a portfolio of schools, ensuring the highest levels of literacy and mathematics implementation. Recognized for her expertise, Beth was invited to Capitol Hill in 2015 to demonstrate her network’s unique and effective teacher development practices, highlighting their innovative approach to leader and teacher professional development. Beth began her career as a Teach for America corps member teaching special education in Brooklyn, and holds a Master’s Degree in Teaching Students with Disabilities.
