Three professional development providers are coming together under one umbrella following acquisitions by K12 Coalition, the companies announced.
K12 Coalition, which offers professional learning-focused products and services to school systems, said it acquired Keys to Literacy and Professional Development Institute as it aims to build out a connected ecosystem of product offerings.
The acquisition will add Keys to Literacy’s reading and writing-focused services and materials to K12 Coalition’s existing products, which include K-8 English language arts curriculum RedThread and summer school curriculum RISE.
The Professional Development Institute provides graduate-level professional development and continuing education online courses for teachers. Purchasing the Institute expands K12 Coalition’s PD-focused portfolio and expands its reach in California, where it is based, the Coalition said.
