Teaching Channel (formerly Learners Edge), a K12 Coalition company, has again been awarded the ISTE Seal of Approval, recognizing the quality and impact of its 300+ self-paced, graduate-level continuing education courses for educators.
The ISTE Seal is a respected validation earned through a detailed review by a panel of education and technology experts. Teaching Channel’s courses meet ISTE’s high standards for alignment to the ISTE Standards, strong learning design and effective use of technology to support teaching and learning.
Teaching Channel is one of four professional learning providers to earn this distinction, and the ISTE seal is valid for 2026-2028.
“Teachers and administrators deserve high-quality professional learning that respects their time and drives meaningful growth,” said Mike Smith, President of Teaching Channel. “We are committed to offering learning experiences that meet the highest standards, and we’re proud to have our courses evaluated to ensure they continue to meet educators’ expectations. Ultimately, the goal is better outcomes for students, and the ISTE Seal affirms that our work is making a meaningful impact where it matters most in the classroom.”
According to the ISTE Seal Review Findings Report, Teaching Channel courses support educators in applying new strategies directly in their classrooms through applied learning such as lesson design, strategy implementation, and reflective analysis. ISTE Reviewers noted the platform’s intuitive management system, personalized instructor feedback, interactive resources, and strong alignment to enhance educators’ teaching practices.
Teaching Channel partners with accredited colleges and universities to offer graduate-level, degree-eligible credit as well as professional development hours, ensuring educators earn credit through rigorous, standards-aligned coursework that reflects demonstrated learning. Courses span topics including instructional strategies, classroom management, educator wellness, behavior supports, and AI — all designed for immediate classroom application.
